This is our Lys after a used book sale at the library. Only, she actually couldn't have held all her new books in her arms like this—reality was a huge, heeeaaavy paper bag with tons of great stuff inside! One of my favourites was an edition of Beauty and the Beast with an unassuming cover of green-leafy design (it had lost its slipcover). The illustrations inside (by Hilary Knight) are just lovely!! I also got a Cinderella book by the same illustrator, but I didn't realize it until I got home. In other news, I love children's books. And I need a new bookshelf for them.
