Hi, Lys! I just found your blog from clicking on your name on one of your comments on Liana's Paper Doll Blog, and I think it's very cool! How do you color the entries?
Hi Janani, and thanks!! These are all pencil sketches, scanned and then coloured in Photoshop. It's much quicker and easier than traditional media. If I had infinite time at my disposal I'd love to do them as watercolours... Oh, for some entries (like Paisley Headache below) I actually scan a section of the fabric and then manipulate it in Photoshop. I go that route when the clothes have a really detailed, intricate pattern and I'm too lazy to try replicating it :D However, I recently started using a tablet, which makes drawing patterns a whole lot easier than using a mouse as I had done for years!
